Can I add a photo to my profile? If so, how ?

Click on user CP (control panel) then click on "edit profile picture."

From there, upload your photo (up to 400 h x300 w pixels).

Profile photo size limits have been increased.

The new limits are:

height x width = 400 x 300 pixels = 4.17 x 3.125 inches

size: 204800 bytes which is equal to 200 kb.

What messaeg are you getting after trying to upload? Your photo may not be the right size. Size restrictions are:

length x width = 300 x 300 pixels = 3.125 x 3.125 inches

Its just says upload failed...I really dont know how big that size is. I tried uploading different sizes and it still does not work.

Try it now, your pic was too large in height - 400 h x 300 w . It will work now. Rather than re-size the photo, I upped the limits.

i dont know whats wrong...still cant upload it

when i go to my edit profile page...i click on the browse button and select the same pic i sent you and then i click open. after i click open its asks if i want to save this photot and I click submit and then it jus says failed upload.

Its not uploading now because your photo is already there. :-) Look in your control panel and click on profle photo. I"m looking at it.

i do see it...but whne i post something am i suppose to be able to see my own profile pic or are others only suppose to be able to see it?

When you post something, the only graphic that will show is an avatar - that you can upload ( a small pic of no more than 95 x 95 pixels). There is a post on how to do that.

Other users can see your profile pic in your profile.

If you want to view your own profile, just click on your username under "Online Users" on the home page (at the top) or on the Message Board page (at the bottom) you'll see "Online Users" Click on your own name and your profle will appear. You can do the same for others.
