New!: Members can EDIT Posts now

By popular demand, members now have the ability to edit their message posts. Maybe you used the wrong word? Maybe you made a typo? At any rate, you can now edit messages. Likewise you can add a poll, or change the thread title, after posting your message. Only the person who posted the message can edit it.

To edit a message, look for a Green edit button to the bottom right of your open message. Noone else will see your green edit button but you. Just click and go. Members have always had the ability to edit Calendar listings and Galllery images/descriptions. So, editing is now allowed everywhere on the Board.

There is one catch: you must begin editing a message within 6 minutes of posting it. After 6 minutes, the green edit button will disappear. This way, we'll maintain some spontaneity in the messages being put up. Note there is no time limit for editing Calendar listings and Galllery images/descriptions.

This is how it works: if a member posts a message at 1:00 PM, that member will not be able to edit that post after 1:06 PM.

You have to scan fast with only 6 minutes to make changes, but I guess that is long enough or you'd wind up spending too much time on one post and won't be as prolific.

This is a great benefit for me because I like to use proper english and sound correct.

I wish I had been able to edit my one post under "Song Name Game" after the six minute mark. Oh well, I know how to do it now.

We extended the time limit to 10 minutes.

Note there is no time limit for editing Calendar listings and Galllery images/descriptions.
